I consider myself to be very blessed, having never felt that my family or I lacked financial security. That perception changed dramatically when my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. The ensuing battle was long and arduous, filled with emotional turmoil, urgent decision-making, and mounting medical expenses. Despite our best efforts, he ultimately passed away.
In the midst of heartbreak and longing for a different outcome, I realized too late that we had neglected essential preparations such as life insurance and estate planning. Financial difficulties hit us hard and unexpectedly.
Determined to prevent others from facing the same hardships, I made a vow to help others, particularly spouses, understand the importance of financial preparedness. Our focus should be on being present with our loved ones, not burdened by technicalities. I am dedicated to protecting families and ensuring they comprehend the critical aspects of financial planning. When dealing with the loss of a spouse or family member, the last thing anyone should worry about is money. My journey working here has been filled with ups and downs, but meeting families and envisioning a secure future for them always inspires me. I believe in ensuring that the ones we leave behind are protected.
Everyone has a reason for what they do. What's yours?
